Importing the transport files for new ERP6-70x-731-740 installations

Prerequisite

Ensure that you have completed the steps in Server-side installation - Winshuttle, Add-on v10.7 on ERP6.

Procedure

The transport import is a standard procedure and imports as two files (K900nnn.W6D and R900nnn.W6D), where nnn is an SAP generated number.

Goto DIR_TRANS path (e.g. /usr/sap/trans on Windows NT) (e.g. \usr\sap\trans on UNIX) and copy the files into the subdirectories "cofiles" and "data" as shown below:

  1. The K_ file is to be copied into "cofiles" directory and R_file is to be copied into the "data" directory.
  2. Log on to SAPGUI and start transaction STMS and select the import queue for the target system.
  3. Go to menu option Others> Extras> Other Requests> Add, enter request W5DK900nnn.
  4. Selct the request number W6DK900nnn.
  5. Go to Menu option Request > Import, to Import the W6DK900nnn into the system.
  6. If your target client is not 000, ensure that you select the option Ignore Non-Permitted Table Class.
