Add SAP Application Servers
To control the various SAP application servers in your deployment, you must configure the servers in CENTRAL. The Application Servers setting facilitates communication between the desktop client and the SAP server via CENTRAL. There are two server types: production and non-production. Production servers are servers that run approved files and non-production servers are development servers where files reside that have not yet been approved or where development scripts are tested.
- Click CENTRAL Administration, and then under TRANSACTION or QUERY Administration, click Application Servers.
- Click Add.
The Manage application server page appears.

- Enter the SAP system ID, the Client, Server type, and whether the server is production, non-production. Enter a Description of the server.
- To configure auto logon, click Auto Logon Details. Add the application server host address, the system number.
- To use a logon group, click Use Logon Group.
- To use single sign on, click Use SS01. Click Save.
- Repeat the procedure for each server.
- Click the server name.

- Click Delete.
