SVAdm Tool

The table below describes the operations in the SVAdm tool. The sections following the table describe each operation in more detail and provide examples of how to use the operations.

Note: Winshuttle Workflow Central Administration (CA) allows you to set some of these administrative options with an easy-to-use Web-based interface. See Chapter 5: Winshuttle Workflow Central Administration for more information.

SVAdm Operations

Operation	Purpose
Archive	Copies SharePoint list data and workflow data to a SharePoint document library where it can be saved for archive purposes.
Copy Site Group (see "Querying Processes")	Creates a site group based on an existing one.
Configuration	Enables setting of Configurator options through a command line.
Create Column	Creates a SharePoint column for a given list.
Debug	Adjusts the system settings so that more descriptive error messages are displayed.
Delete Process (see "Querying Processes")	Removes a published workflow from a SharePoint site.
Delete Saved Forms	Removes completed forms (whose processes have also been completed) from a SharePoint site.
Document Monitoring	Allows you to add a monitor that routinely starts a review process against documents in a document library.
Encryption	Encrypts values in the sharevis.config file for added security.
Export Workflow Data	Exports workflow data into a database or SharePoint.
Force Completion	Forces the completion of one or more processes.
Form Reporting	Runs a report on forms. The report can include calculations of data for a given type of form for a specified number of days.
Logging	Records detailed logs of system usage, enabling you to locate errors and performance bottlenecks.
Logging Dump	Creates a package of log file and other configuration files that can be sent to Winshuttle Technical Support in the event of a problem.
Process Information	Displays the details of a specific process published to a SharePoint site, and enumerates all of the processes on a SharePoint site.
Publish	Manually publishes workflows, InfoPath forms, Name Templates, or Labeled Assignment names to SharePoint sites.
Query Processes	Dumps process information to a file, based on the date.
Update SharePoint Lists with Workflow Data	Updates SharePoint lists with workflow data from the Workflow database.
XSL Style Sheet Testing	Takes an XSL style sheet and runs the XSLT engine on it with associated XML data and produces an output that can be validated.
