Winshuttle Workflow and SharePoint

SharePoint is structured around the concept of lists. 

• A list has a name and a definition, which is a user-defined collection of typed, named data. 
• A list contains a collection of list items.  Each list item contains a number of columns that contain data.  The column names and data types are defined by the list in which the list item resides.
• Lists and list items are central to Winshuttle Workflow. A Winshuttle Workflow instance routes a single SharePoint list item (and only a single list item).  A list item may only have a single workflow running against it at any one time.

Sites built from Winshuttle Workflow templates maintain the user/group structure that is common with all SharePoint sites. If a site is created with the permissions set to Use same permissions as parent site, it will inherit the users, groups, and permission settings of the parent site. If the permissions are set to Use unique permissions, the site will only contain one user (the creator of the site) and you must add users and groups and set their permissions.
