Migrating SharePoint Groups

If your current Winshuttle Solution is already deployed to your development environment, then you probably already have SharePoint Groups set up as participants for your workflow. But when you migrate your Workflow to its new destination, those SharePoint Groups will not be carried over. The SharePoint groups used in your development environment will need to be manually re-created in your new site.

To reduce the work required for this, Winshuttle recommends using temporary accounts for the development process. After your Solution has been migrated to the QA environment, it is a good time to start implementing actual participants/SharePoint Groups.
