Authorizations required by administrator and end users

To ensure that authorizations are provided, create two roles with authorization as shown below. You can name the roles according to the conventions in your company, or add the authorization in the respective user roles as you want.

For Winshuttle QUERY Administrator

  1. Add authorization object S_TCODE
  2. Give the following values for TCD: SM30
  3. Add authorization group S_RFC
  4. Give the following values for ACTVT: 16 Execute
  5. Give the following values for RFC_NAME: SMTR
  6. Give the following values for RFC_TYPE: FUGR Function Group
  7. Add authorization object: S_TABU_DIS
  8. Give authorization group value of table /WINSHTLQ/QRSAOB (Initially no authorization group value is assigned to /WINSHTLQ/QRSAOB, enter value &NC& denoting ‘w/o auth. group’).

For Winshuttle QUERY User

In case the administrator is also an end user, add the following authorizations.

  1. Add authorization object: S_RFC
  2. Give the following values for ACTVT: 16 Execute
  3. Give the following values for RFC_NAME

    /WINSHTL/*

    /WINSHTLQ/*

    RFC1

    RFCH

    SRFC

    SYST

    SUSR

  4. Give the following values for RFC_TYPE: FUGR Function Group
