Deleting the function module for previous versions of Transaction

To install Winshuttle Function Module version 10.7, you must first delete the Z hotfix on SAP4.7 and then delete 10.4.1 and 10.5 on SAP4.7 (Importing transports to SAP server).

Delete the Winshuttle Transaction version 10.3 Z hotfix

Importing the transport is a standard procedure. The transport consists of two files, the K90nnn.W6D and the R90nnn.W6D, where nnnn is an SAP generated number. Use the procedure to import the transports in the following order:

  1. W4DK900719
  2. W4DK900721

The following procedure describes how to extract the transports:

  1. Goto DIR_TRANS path (e.g. /usr/sap/trans on Windows NT) ( e.g. \usr\sap\trans on unix ) and copy the files into the subdirectories "cofiles" and "data" as shown below:

    The K_ file is to be copied into "cofiles" directory and R_file is to be copied into the "data" directory

  2. Logon into SAPGUI and start transaction STMS and select the import queue for the target system
  3. Go to menu option Others>Extras> Other Requests> Add, enter request W4DK900nnn
  4. Select the request number W4DK90nnnn
  5. Go to Menu option Request > Import, to Import the W4DK90nnnn into the system.

Delete 10.4.1 and 10.5 on SAP4.7

Important: Perform the following steps in sequence.

Step 1: Transports to Import in sequence

Importing the transport is a standard procedure. The transport consists of two files, the K90nnnn.W6D and the R90nnnn.W6D, where nnnn is an SAP generated number. Use the procedure to import the transports in the following order:

  1. W4DK900693
  2. W4DK900685
  3. W4DK900687
  4. W4DK900689
  5. W4DK900691
  6. W4DK900695

The following procedure describes how to extract and install the transports:

  2.  Logon into SAPGUI and start transaction STMS and select the import queue for the target system
  3. Go to menu option Others>Extras> Other Requests> Add, enter request W4DK900nnn
  4. Select the request number W4DK90nnnn
  5. Go to Menu option Request > Import, to Import the W4DK90nnnn into the system.

Step 2

After installing Winshuttle Add on v10.6, start transaction code SA38 and execute program

/WINSHTLQ/QRS_CLEAR_ADDON

Step 3

Lastly, import transport W4DK900717.
