Chapter 2 Installation

Winshuttle products run within the SharePoint platform and are installed in a Windows Server 2003 or 2008 (Web or Enterprise Edition) environment.

Installing Winshuttle Workflow is a four-step process.

  1. Configure Winshuttle SERVER to communicate with Winshuttle Workflow.
  2. Install the Workflow SharePoint Binaries.
  3. Setup SVService as a Scheduled Task.
  4. Create a Winshuttle Workflow Site.

System Requirements

Winshuttle Workflow is a server application that requires one of the following SharePoint versions to be installed and configured:

Winshuttle Workflow also has the following Microsoft Office InfoPath requirements:

Note: 64-bit InfoPath is not supported at the time of this release.

If you plan on installing Winshuttle SERVER on a separate server from Central/Workflow, Winshuttle recommends using Kerberos authentication.

NOTE: Kerberos authentication is required to be configured for Winshuttle SERVER, Winshuttle workflow in case both are installed on different machines. Else key "BypassDoubleHopSecurity key can be used"
