Studio Products
Starting with version 10.2, all client products (Transaction, Query, and Direct) in the 10.x series are forward-compatible and backward-compatible.
Designer is forward-compatible and backward-compatible starting with 10.5.
Example:
- Forward compatibility: 10.3 client is compatible with 10.5 Server products.
- Backward compatibility: 10.3 client is compatible with 10.2 Server products.
Important: New Foundation functionality is not available in the client if the client version is older than the version of the server-side products you are using.
SAP Function Modules
The client software must be either the same version or a later version of the Function Module (FM) in order to run. WFM v10.7 is an exception to this; it runs successfully with client software versions 10.6 and 10.6.1.
Example: If you have the 10.5 TFM installed, your Transaction client products need to be version 10.5 or later.

EHP-7 Support is provided starting with the10.7 WFM and 10.7 client.
EHP-8 Support is provided starting with the 11.1.1 WFM and 11.1.1 client.
If you plan to use Winshuttle Studio with S/4 HANA, the minimum compatible Studio + WFM versions are as follows:
1511: None /No GA version
1610 : v11.2
1709 : v11.4 and v11.2.12
1809 : v12.0, 12.0.1, and 12.1
The Studio and WFM versions should be the same. Studio v10.x and older Studio versions may work but are not recommended.
