License definitions
The Winshuttle Desktop licensing structure is based on the number of users and the module or modules they use. There are two distinct user types: Runner and Developer. In general, a user with a Runner license may run scripts (only), and a user with a Developer license may run scripts and develop scripts. Each user needs a license which corresponds to the specific work that they do, as noted in the table below.
Runner license
A Runner license includes the use of both the Transaction and Query modules, or the use of just one of those modules. See the table below for Runner capabilities included with each module.
Developer license
A Developer license includes the use of the Transaction, Query, and Direct (BAPI) modules, or the use of just one of those modules. See the table below for Developer capabilities included with each module.
