Importing the transport files for new SAP R3 4.70 installations
Prerequisite
Please ensure that you have completed steps in Server-Side Installation - Winshuttle, Add-on v10.7 on SAP R3 470.
Procedure
The transport import is a standard procedure that consists of two files (K900nnn.W4D and R900nnn.W4D), where nnn is an SAP generated number.
- Goto DIR_TRANS path (e.g. /usr/sap/trans on Windows NT) (e.g. \usr\sap\trans on UNIX) and copy the files into the subdirectories "cofiles" and "data" as shown below:
- The K_ file is to be copied into "cofiles" directory and R_file is to be copied into the "data" directory.
- Log on in SAPGUI and start transaction STMS and select the import queue for the target system.
- Go to menu option Others > Extras > Other Requests > Add, enter request W4DK900nnn.
- Select the request number W4DK900nnn.
- Go to Menu option Request > Import, to Import the W4DK900nnn into the system.
- If your target client is not 000, ensure that you select the option Ignore Non-Permitted Table Class.
