Winshuttle Workflow is an out-of-the-box document control and workflow - based business process management solution designed for the Microsoft SharePoint environment. Winshuttle Designer integrates seamlessly with SharePoint and allows you to implement and enforce your business processes including document and form routing.
Winshuttle Workflow includes three main components:
Winshuttle Designer is a tool that allows you to quickly and easily build processes for your business environment using a graphical user interface. It integrates with SharePoint, leveraging permissions, attributes, and user profile information. It supports task assignment and extensive role-based task monitoring and management, including reminders and re-assignments, Boolean operations, looping, and conditional branching. See Using Winshuttle Designer for information about working with Winshuttle Designer.
DocEx extends SharePoint document libraries with document lifecycle support, change management, and change controls. DocEx supports initial release and revision controls of document lifecycles, while maintaining a full history and audit trail. Additionally, DocEx supports ad-hoc and predefined routing of documents, while leveraging your existing SharePoint permissions, groups, and column values. DocEx sites have the same look and feel as standard SharePoint sites, and are created from a custom forms site template. See Configuring your Document Library (DocEx) for information about configuring Winshuttle Designer DocEx for your environment.
FormEx uses Microsoft InfoPath in combination with Winshuttle Designer to author process-enabled Web forms, allowing non-InfoPath users to participate using a regular Web browser. FormEx Web forms maintain a full history and audit trail, while leveraging your existing SharePoint permissions, groups, and column values. FormEx sites have the same look and feel as standard SharePoint sites, and are created from a custom forms site template. See Working with form workflows for information about configuring FormEx for your environment.
NOTE: Winshuttle Workflow supports InfoPath 2007 32-bit and InfoPath 2010 32-bit. 64-bit InfoPath is not supported at the time of this release.
