Working with form workflows
Winshuttle Form Workflow enables you to create Web-based workflows using Microsoft InfoPath, and integrate them with workflows created in Winshuttle Designer. This enables non-InfoPath users to participate in workflows using a standard Web browser. Using a Form Workflow, you can port to digital format many of the paper-based forms used in your business practices. These forms can be as simple as an Employee Time Off Request, or as complex as a Supplier Corrective Action Request. Integration with a workflow provides the ability to track, manage, and enforce the business processes associated with your forms.
Form Workflow Web forms maintain a full history and audit trail, while leveraging your existing SharePoint permissions, groups, and column values. The data collected from these forms is stored in standard SharePoint lists and can be extracted for use with other applications.
This section provides instructions for creating and publishing forms, an overview of form views, and advanced information about library columns and creating URLs to launch forms.
NOTE: The information in this section assumes that you have created one or more Form Workflow sites as needed for your environment. If you have not yet created Form Workflow sites, See Creating Document and Form Workflow SharePoint Sites.
For information about using the Form Workflow web parts to participate in workflows, see the Winshuttle Workflow Participant Guide.
