Uninstalling the Journal Entry plugin

To uninstall Journal Entry Plugin and JE Libraries completely from a SharePoint site, you must first delete the Journal Entry libraries, and then delete the Farm solution.

Deleting a SharePoint library

  1. Open the library to be deleted. Click the name of the library on the Quick Launch, or click Site Actions, click View All Site Content, and then under the appropriate Libraries section, click the name of the library.

    NOTE: SharePoint sites can be significantly modified in appearance and navigation. If you cannot locate an option, such as a command, button, or link, contact your administrator.

  2. Under Library Tools, click the Library tab.
  3. In the Settings group, click Library Settings.
  4. Under Permissions and Management, click Delete this<library type>library.
  5. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
  6. Repeat this process for all other Journal Entry libraries.

Deactivating Journal Entry

  1. On the SharePoint Site Home tab, click Libraries.
  2. Click Site Actions, and then click Site Settings.
  3. Under Site Actions, click Manage Site Features.
  4. Winshuttle Central for Journal Entry Doc Libs, click Deactivate.
  5. Return to Home ® Libraries.
  6. Under Site Collection Administration, click Site Collection Features.
  7. Next to Winshuttle Central for JE, click Deactivate.

  1. Open the SharePoint Site Administration.
  2. Click System Settings.
  3. Under Farm Management, click Manage farm solutions.
  4. Click winshuttlejeplugin.wsp
  5. Click Retract Solution , and then click OK.
  6. After retraction is completed, click winshuttlejeplugin.wsp again.
  7. Click Remove Solution

Removing workflows from the site

  1. On the SharePoint Site Home tab, click Libraries.
  2. Click Site Actions, and then click Site Settings.
  3. Under Galleries, click Solutions.
  4. Select the solution(s) to be deleted, and then (on the ribbon) click Deactivate.
  5. Click Deactivate, and then click Close.
  6. Select the solution again, and then (on the ribbon) click Delete.
