Winshuttle Central Audits & Reports menu: Client log viewer

Use the Client Log Viewer page to do things such as:

Use the Client Log Viewer page to generate an activity log on the system for specific times and dates, users, and servers. After you have generated the log, you can export it to Excel.

Note: To see the log, a user must be part of the Winshuttle Central Reports Viewers group.

Viewing client activity

  1. Click CENTRAL Administration, and then under Audit & Reports, click Client Log Viewer.
  2. Specify the product or select All. For TRANSACTION-only activity, you can select the following check box: Import log files from previously node-locked TRANSACTION clients.
  3. In the Start date and End date boxes, specify a date range.
  4. Specify the Winshuttle user name and SAP user name.
  5. Specify the SAP system.
  6. Specify either the Transaction Code or the System Usage Level. Click View Log.

Viewing forms activity

  1. Click CENTRAL Administration, and then under Audit & Reports, click Web Services Log Viewer.
  2. Select QUERY or TRANSACTION forms.
  3. Click View Log.

Viewing details of specific entries

Select a specific entry and click View Details.

Log Entry descriptions

The following table describes the log file entries and what they represent.

Log entry

Description

Manual Upload Time

The average amount of time required to take a user to upload a record within SAP manually.

Winshuttle Upload Time

The amount of time required to upload a record through the Query or Transaction script

Time Saved

The amount of time that the Winshuttle Upload saves you vs. the Manual Upload Time

Total Time Saved

The amount of time for a Winshuttle Upload times the number of records uploaded

Run Time

The total amount of time that it took Winshuttle to upload all of the records
